At Alpha Delta Pi, we recognize the importance of giving back to the
community. Our national philanthropy is the Ronald McDonald House. Last spring we held our “Rock for Ronald: Battle
of the Bands Event” and raised money while having fun with other organizations on campus. In the past we have held a
week long “Lions Share Challenge” event to benefit theRonald McDonald House. Our sisters visit the local Ronald
McDonald house regularly to help prepare meals and baby-sit for the families who are staying there. It such a rewarding and
a wonderful bonding experience to visit the Ronald McDonald House in Charleston,
SC.
As a chapter, we participate in numerous service projects and
philanthropies and take pride in our involvement with fraternities and sororities, on and off campus. Just a few of the philanthropies
we support together are Phi Sigma Sigma’s benefit luncheon, Pi Kappa Phi’s “No Boundaries Week,” and
Sigma Sigma Sigma’s “Penny Wars.” This past year we proudly
won Delta Chi’s Woman’s Open Putt-Putt Tournament.
Sisters in Alpha Delta Pi are
always supporting various community service projects including Relay for Life, mentoring, and college park clean up. This past fall we hosted a speaker and welcomed the entire campus
to come learn about college safety in a program entitled “Risky Business”. Our service to our community has no
boundaries. We donate food and clothing, attend blood drives and give our time whenever we are needed. We enjoy serving our
community and those who need help in their time of need.
